If you search for Santa Cruz restaurants on the internet, most sites are simply lists of restaurants and are not local, not up to date and do not include information about the character of the restaurant. Note that Frommers and Zagat only include four and three restaurants respectively in the Santa Cruz area. Basically, we are on our own!
